The transportation of large and heavy equipment, such as the Oil and Gas installation valve, can be a daunting task that requires careful planning and execution. However, Airstream Aviation was able to pull it off with ease. We used an Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft with a maximum payload of 50 tons to transport the valve from Sharjah, United Arab Emirates to Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

The Ilyushin Il-76 is a popular choice for transporting heavy and oversized cargo due to its large cargo hold and high payload capacity. It is designed to operate in a wide range of weather conditions and can land on unpaved runways, making it ideal for transporting cargo to remote locations.
